Bidrage med feedbackWe ate here twice during our three-night stay in the hotel. the food was excellent! there is a very extensive wine list. both of us sat outside in the courtyard it area, it is a nice place to spend the evening.
This restaurant is a little silly. the sections are much too small as if you have a point that it is too precious and it is worn to an extreme. for say 36 euro is a total escape of two zucchini flowers (zero... calves filled with literally one tablespoon ratatouille (eggplant and rice) and the included protein if you can call three quarters of an une of overlaid baby-squid-finger protein, is the entire rest of the plate. yes, the aubergine is amazing, and would be a great court in itself if you got about 20 times the amount. the evening dinner will be back 90 to 125 euro per person. (increase modest price wein and you will be hungry. the worst part can be broth. each diner gets three rolls for a table of two there are six rolls: two of each tomaten, two and land. I guess the amount is so diners have something to eat. but the broth were the weakest connection, taste wise. with apology to M/M boucher, this should be done elsewhere. (and more importantly, real parts of the escape should be provided. overall it makes fun for a night. Mostly you don't have to drive (as most seem to stay here in the hotel as we did, and note that the desserts are more normal portions, so that can plan ahead. we have dimmed two nights here, so a representative sample. Unfortunately there are not many good local restaurants. ten minutes away (under 2 miles the shopping center of ikea is anchored. this has at least two real restaurants with large outdoor and indoor areas. one is la Vielle marché, with quite good eating is but right next to the playground, so gets every amount of kids running around. the next door is a somewhat quieter Italian restaurant. no reservation required. nb if in marseille, a much better restaurant, at half price, is L’Hippocampe. directly at the old harbour (quai du port.
The restaurant is located in a beautiful courtyard garden. the host is very friendly. the service seemed a little off, however, because of the garden where a beetle was hanging in my glass when the waiter water poured in. I pointed out, and he did. the guard changed it. at the corner of the garden near the building is a bag of dead air. we had to throw away our whole dinner. the waiting staff looked at us as if something strange was going on, but did nothing. also there were numerous drops of cutlery, as the staff put it on the table. now to eat: the starters we had were with the menus they offered. we had served the salmon,- shrimp-cratz mix and fish in Provencal style. all were very average. for the first we had cod and deaf. better than average. the desserts were excellent. So eating started on average and became better in the night. but about 2.5 hours with hovering flying with average service for just better than average food at this price point is not so impressive.
The staff is very friendly. The garden incredible, with pine trees, pink laurels, fig trees and much more. The place in the restaurant, is very romantic. The food delicious, well representing very fine french cuisine
We enjoyed every meal: Booked half-board with good breakfast and dinners were tasty with something new every evening, great selection of wine. The service was excellent.
