Bidrage med feedbackWe spent 2 nights half board in the hotel and ate dinner twice in the restaurant. The staff was very helpful and competent and excellently copied with each request. The organization/management of the restaurant during full and under COVID-19 constraints was excellent. We were in the appendix, 2nd floor and you need a good pair of knees to climb the 46 levels each time. The receptionist immediately offered to carry luggage for us to the 2nd floor, first rate service.
Excellent food, friendly service, very pleasant atmosphere. 3 course menu and a glass of wine approx. 25-30 € per head. Very much.
First visit to the island and stayed here in the tongue. As others have commented, a good middle class hotel. I chose a cheaper room in the appendix that was good for one, but would have been tight for a few. Next time you'd have a look at the port.
After staying 2 weeks on Belle-Ile, we have to admit that seafood quality, daily special, service and view on the harbor distinguish this restaurant as the best option in town
Chose to have dinner here after we've had a look at what else was offered in town (there really aren't many restaurants to choose from) and my partner was after a seafood platter. Can't really remember my meal (had a beef steak with fries) since I kept staring at a huge plate of seafood on the table which included a local barnacle (Pouce-pied). The steak was okay, and the seafood had the potential to be good to, if only it was grilled. Not sure why the French serve seafood platter as a cold dish as it just doesn't taste the same when served cold. Although it has to be said that the 1-person serving would be enough for 2 people. Overall good service and reasonably good value for money.
