Bier Stube And Grill Bierstube Le Claire

I have loved the Davenport and Moline Bier Stube for the past year now. I was excited to try out the new restaurant with my family on Tuesday early evening. We had a very helpful and nice waiter. He was very good about attending to us even when I was starting to get busy. The following visit, I unfortunately had a bad experience and was disappointed. This new place is unorganized and needs a lot more work. Our order was wrong and it took too long to get food and even drinks. The Manager was not available and I felt this has been an unprofessional experience. Do not visit the new Bier Stube for at least a month or so. I hope when I return the waiter that helped us the first night will be available and hopefully our order will be right next time. Food=Great Atmosphere=great view organization=terrible management=terrible overall=place needs more time.

I never got to eat at this restaurant. I went there alone on a Sunday night, was seated, but was completely overlooked. I waited for 15 minutes for the waitress, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. She passed by me several times without stopping to ask if I wanted something to drink. It felt like I was invisible, just because I was dining alone.

We waited outside for about 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging our presence. Staff members came out to serve other tables around us, but we were completely overlooked. My husband approached the staff to express our concerns, and they didn't seem to care at all. There was no apology or any effort to rectify the situation. So, we decided to leave. The food looked great, but sadly, we never got the chance to try it.

I stopped by after a shopping spree and was pleased with my experience. The food was delicious and fresh. Both the German potato salad and the French fries were excellent. The service was friendly and accommodating. However, I would suggest considering a different type of rolled sandwich instead of the Reuben roll.
