Land Sea Brewing Company - Lazo

STREET CORN NACHOS. Never had them until now and they’ll be what I dream of from this day forward. The only downside is this meal is it’s too far away from my home thinking of moving to Courtenay now.

I always make a point to stop in and have a flight and a plate of nachos on my way to or from the Powell River ferry! The beer here is good, but the nachos are somethin' else. The Bulgogi nachos and Street Corn nachos are incredible. Only downside I've experienced is lack of parking, but that's not necessarily a reflection of the brewery.

Are people getting paid or a discount to go off about the “varied food menu” with “tons of pub options”. I saw nachos and a couple of burgers (one of which is a microwaved black bean burger). Their “kitchen” looks like a hotplate and an oven. Sitting outside? Prepare to never get your food until you remind them an hour later that you have the lil doodad and you still haven’t gotten your food. Don’t even know why “servers” are there, you have to do 99% of the grunt work yourself. “Sorry it must’ve slipped though” is believable once, but twice?!? Definitely a place that thinks it’s bigger than it is, big pretentious attitude from them all. It’s like if McDonald’s got mad that you didn’t call them a Michelin standard restaurant. The little extra drive you have to do to go anywhere else is worth it, doesn’t even take that much longer when you have to factor in the walk from wherever you had to park to the building anyways.

Best nachos in town (and potentially the planet? . Great beer selection and great atmosphere. The servers here are always top notch! Highlight recommend.

We had planned to host our wedding recovery day in a park, but due to weather had to move indoors and Land Sea were super accomodating last minute to our 50+ guests reserving an entire area. Their hospitality is second to none and it ended up being the perfect venue for it, thanks guys!
