Fabulous Food great Dinner Service brilliant worth a Visit .

I would like to thank all staff at village hotel for friendly and excellent service last week . The awards night was a great success and football team really appreciated it.

What a great venue! Had a lovely lunch... Great food... fantastic staff... shout out to Shannon... I highly recommend a visit!

Overpriced add ons Went for breakfast today and was disappointed to say the least. Ordered eggs with toast, asked for aside of bacon which was advertised as 2 euro, I would have assumed it was 2 pieces, it was only 1, so it would have cost an extra 4 euro to add 2 pieces of bacon which I decided not to in the end. Considering you can buy a pack of bacon in a supermarket for less than that price ,means you can obviously buy it in for a lot cheaper so you are ripping people off by charging that . Also my partner ordered poached eggs which were way over done. Also oddly there was lettuce on the plate with a balsamic dressing which I found quite odd for a breakfast dish. The only positive experience was the waitress, she was so lovely and so professional. I have eaten here for dinner before and if has always been great , it just seems to fall down on the breakfast side. Unfortunately I will not eat breakfast here again.
