Bout Time Pub Grub - Layton

We went in and sat on Monday night at 4:30. We wanted an early dinner and a beer. They were not busy and there were several employees behind the bar. After 20 minutes, not waiting for us, we left. That was the Newgate Mall location. We won't be back and it's too bad because that's a pretty comfortable place.

I give a 3, because there are some solid staff (Bam, Erika, Alex (50/50) some others are solid, but I don't know their names) and the food is usually on the point. But two of the employees make it a bad experience. A chick who works there (I forget her name) doesn't even recognize that I sit at the bar RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER on several occasions and I'm pretty small, so I don't know what the problem is. The bald head chef in the back was a problem I was here last time. Food was garbage and it seemed more personal that only a coincidence. I come, spend good money and tap always well so I can't ignore bad service. All the good, but I said to myself on several occasions that I didn't come back, but the convenience brings me every time.

Breaded wings Fire sauce. Wings were huge and delicious. Spicy but not to hot. Fun atmosphere for Thursday night football. Good beer selection. Recommend.

I love the Layton site! Bam is my absolute favorite, she always knows what we want and always takes care of us! Erica and Jerry are just as brilliant! We will come in at least twice a week!! Frank and Stacy Eggett

Good atmosphere. The bartenders are nice and respectful. Good prices. The place is clean. I just wish they had a bigger parking lot.
