Mrs. Gg's Southern Cookin' - Lawton

I was pleasantly surprised to find this little place in lawton. the food was cooked to order. they're not ruffles, they're not fighting, but they don't need them when they eat well. I ordered fried chicken, chicken dressing and gravy and kale. it was all delicious. the chicken was cooked to order. the cabbage and the dressing were served hot and were both delicious. my friend ordered the fried pork chop dinner and she said it was also delicious. we both enjoyed it immensely and would recommend it to everyone. we both enjoyed our eating so much that we have forgotten to make photos. the hours are wrong on Google’s young man in restaurant said they are 11-6 Wednesday Sunday.

This restaurant is definitely one of the best in the city. Without a doubt, it's in my top 5 favorite restaurants. The flavors here are unique and unmatched. And to top it off, the peach bull cocktail is the best in town.

If you want some good ole southern food you need to stop by Mrs GG’s and get you a plate. She had the best soul food around and I recommend you try it.

Great food and great people! Very modest little spot but the food is excellent, I suggest the fried fish. I will be back.

My husband and I came here to get our soul food fix but this is what our food looked like! They were out of most sides only thing they had was fries and this was at the beginning of them opening the store around 12 for lunch and already out of sides? Makes no sense. I asked for a chicken country steak and they gave me this without gravy! I was so upset me and my husband paid $28 dollars for this!!! Like $12 dollars each plate. Poor customer service and the food is not all that!
