Strong's Brick Oven Pizzeria; Lawrenceburg

We were told it would be an hour wait and it ended up being like 10 minutes!! We were thrilled! The sad part was that they used the other 50 minutes throughout the meal to be able to get our drink order, get us our drinks, get our food order, get our drink refills, and get our check. It was busy, but not that busy. I think our waitress was bartending and NO one covered her tables for her or helped her out. The calzones were fabulous tasting!!!

2nd time dining at this location. Hostess and server were friendly and answered all questions, order taken promptly. Inside dining area is too dark and I'm not a fan if outside street dining. Ordered drinks and a large Cosentino specialty pizza with mushroom on half at both visits. The taste is just ok. This may be due to the watery sauce, which tastes like crushed tomatoes from a can. All toppings were placed in the center which made the thin center crust watery and the toppings fall off when you transfer to your plate so you have to eat the center portion with a fork. My wife doesn't like mushrooms so she had to remove them from her side. The sausage slices tasted very good and not too spicy, cooked properly, not a lot of garlic which is a good thing. There are 3 inches of edge crust with nothing, just thick hard crust that is hard to cut let alone chew. For the amount charged I expect to receive a pizza with more toppings than there actually was and with toppings on the edge. If this is not possible, then I will not be returning. We were there about an hour, had somewhere to be and didn't have time to ask for it to be redone. I will travel to Dewey's in Crescent Springs or Dent locations, never any issue there.

Pizza is always good! But what's SNOT good is a waiter blowing his nose next to the food service window, not washing his hands after and continues serving food. Yikes.

We drove in from Indianapolis for the concert on the River and had dinner here just before the 7:00 start. We lucked out and found 2 seats at the bar. Nicole took our drink order and then shortly after took our food order. The restaurant and bar was packed with a wait. Nicole was pouring beers and drinks non stop, yet attended to the patrons at the bar in a timely manner with a great attitude! The food was fantastic too! Should we visit Lawrenceburg again we will definitely eat here!

Meatball appetizers are the best, just fantastic, 3 large meatballs. Wasn’t thrilled with the pizza for the price We had 2 people in our party. Just not a fan of the pizza sauce seems plain to me for top dollar. But Someone else may like just a basically tomato type of sauce. I would say try them to know if it works for you personally
