Tokyo Steakhouse - Lawrence

Eaten here many times and never disappointing. The stonehenge roll is my favorite, but I have tried many roles and appetizers and never had anything bad. We have never ordered online or through eatstreet, but have stopped in and put in a quick order at the bar many times. I've never seen them busy.

We were really excited to visit the place and we specially called them up on Sat to confirm that they're open on Sun and also asked whether the buffet will be available. We were promised that they're open for buffet. But on Sunday when we arrived there around 2pm, they were shut with no notice/sign on the door! This is ridiculous! We drove all the way just to visit this place for lunch and we were so disappointed.

I placed an order online through Eat Street at 6:25 PM. Website said it would be ready at 6:45PM. I showed up at 6:50, only to stand and wait for 5 minutes before even being acknowledged. Once the woman working finally came to see me, I told her I was picking up a carry out order in which she replied it wasn't there. Don't ever use their website to place a to-go order! Placed an order for pick up and selected a pick up time 2 hours away from when I placed the order. Get to restaurant 10 minutes before my scheduled pick up time to be told they didn't get my order. Place it again and am told 30 minutes, an hour later I'm told the chefs are just now starting on my order. What should have been an quick and easy pick up ended up taking over 2 additional hours of time.

Beautiful remodel of original restaurant, sweet waitresses, good food especially the miso soup and ginger dressing salad. Want to go back to try their hibachi entrees.
