Crescent Moon Winery - Lawrence

Great wine! Easily the best I have had in Kansas and comparable to wine from regions of the US that are known for wine production. Friendly and knowledgeable vintners in an enjoyable setting.

The owners and employees are very nice and helpful.

We had a perfect Friday afternoon tasting with Keith at Crescent Moon. Both red and white wines exceeded our expectations and we look forward to enjoying the bottles we took home. The tasting room is quite cozy and then you step outside to a huge field of vines, cows and horses. We hope to return with friends and family.

I like dry red wines and my favorite is Drouthy. I thoroughly enjoy sitting out back sipping on a glass of wine overlooking a pond and vineyards. The tasting is a bargain for $10 which includes six samples and a taster glass. I appreciate the efforts the owners have put into this local winery which is worth returning to again and again.
