Bidrage med feedbackThe service was excellent, but as is typical for these types of restaurants, I found that the best dishes were not available on the conveyor belt and had to be ordered separately (although they arrived quickly when ordered). Additionally, many of the dishes were primarily made up of rice, even though rice was not featured in the pictures. I came to eat fish, not to fill up on rice (although I understand this is how they make their profits).
I recently had a wonderful evening at Melbourne Central for dinner at I.ne Sushi Train restaurant with my friends. Upon walking in, we were warmly welcomed by friendly service at the clean and inviting establishment. The highlight was the sushi train, a visually appealing display of colorful plates showcasing a variety of sushi options. While the selection was a bit limited, the sushi was incredibly fresh and delicious. In addition to the sushi, we also enjoyed some fantastic side dishes such as Tempura Vegetables, Pan fried Gyoza, and irresistible Agadashi Tofu.
I initially visited this restaurant with the intention of having the train service, but ended up ordering from the menu instead. The food was delicious and very enjoyable. However, there were two issues - first, the train dishes lack descriptions on each plate, so you have to guess by looking. Secondly, the ordered dishes arrived surprisingly quickly. Despite these minor issues, the service was great and the prices were excellent value for money.
We had the chicken teriyaki, katsu chicken and gyoza. I love the chicken teriyaki! The gyoza was just average. There was nothing special about the katsu chicken but the egg that came with it had a very delicious flavour that made the dish extra ordinary. The portion is quite generous and reasonably priced. I think the drinks were a bit pricy. Service was very pleasant. I will definitely go back!
You may need to search Melbourne Central for this restaurant, its tucked away down a side passage (past the Pancake Parlour near TGIF). The food is good, and there is the choice between sit down meals, or sushi train. The menu is quite extensive, not overly priced, with good fast service. It is licenced, with a range of Japanese beers to drink.
