Suku's Restaurant - Lausanne

Nice ambiance, very attentive service and -especially- great food. The dahl was very well done, as was the chicken tikka. My son says the lamb "was the best he ever tasted". Highly recommendable.

Being of Indian origin and being disappointed with the limited and costly food choices in Lausanne, i was really happy to discover this little treasure trove of a restaurant. The decor is perfectly simple exhibiting traditional indian artefacts . The food is creatively presented and original yet truly authentic and to top it off the chef is a kind and genuine being which is mirrored in his food. Hope Sukus achieves the success it deserves. My favourite dish by far is the Calamer but the prawn dish and aubergine are also a must! I have still to taste the entire menu...

We live in Vevey An generally keep away from Indian restaurants as we haven't found 1 yet that has impressed us. Ordered fish curry, an chicken tikka with naan, both dishes were just delicious. Drinks are overpriced an it was great that the chef cane around asking if we enjoyed our meal. Koffi one of the waiters was great an very polite. Our only gripe would be the arrogant Indian waiters who made you feel that you were inconveniencing him if you asked him anything. We will definitely be back with friends

I have been to South India and I loved the food there. Interestingly, it's in my home country, Switzerland, that I found the most delicate, creative and exotic Indian cuisine at Suku's restaurant! If you like Indian food, but want something special and surprising, you must visit this place!
