Grütli - Lausanne

We came to this restaurant because of his call for good fondue. the server strongly encouraged us to order the fondue for two people who have an salat, a portion dried meat, a fondue tank with brot and kartoffels and two glasses with...winning for 45 chf per. what we received was disappointing for the price. the salat was perhaps half a cup of arugula/rocket with no other sweet (last salad we had in a land of delicious salads). The four to five thin slices of dried meat were tasteless. the wine, although good, was two small half glasses. the fondue itself was good with lots of broth and kartoffels, but when the bill came for 90 chf, the worth was for what we received was minimal compared to other meal times that we had in Switzerland last week. we were very disappointed.

Had dinner here with a friend. She had veal in cream and mushroom sauce and I had beef stroganoff. Both dishes were tasty, but nothing to write home about.

Le café du grutli is an institution in lausanne, with these wooden and wooden beams that give an authentic view of the caffe. the kitchen is local, with cheese fondue and brasserie plates on the menu. friendly reception and excellent service. we tried them. Beef-denderloin, and perch tablets. excellent eating. beautiful pommes. highly recommended

For Swiss traditional kitchen and corresponding atmosphere: this is the place to be! the service is top, cheesefondue is top, but also its other traditional dishes. no disappointments here.

We were five people on Saturday night to eat a birthday dinner there. the place is really traditional Swiss brasserie in a historical location in the center of lausanne. eating is also traditional, but fresh products and taste really good. the service is beautiful and accommodating. this place really recommend!
