Bidrage med feedbackNice setting, good food but hesitant service with several problems to order (the jasmin becomes the mango tea; sushi without a lawyer comes with a lawyer, etc.)
Very nice setting (small quiet terrace on the side, as far as I am concerned), impeccable service, and a plateau of 15 delicious sushis for 35 chf. I'd just miss the beer at the pressure.
A friend and I popped for a quick bite on a weekday night and we're not disappointed. The staff were enthusiastic but not too over the top and the food was tasty (even a simple salad had a fantastic dressing.) Price-wise it is pretty standard for central Lausanne, mains were 25-35CHF. I think its location 3 minutes from the station just above the cinema on Rue du Petit-Chêne on the one hand make it super handy, however it does suffer from being in a place where people are often passing by. But I would argue that it's definitely worth stopping off.And as a bar, whilst we didn't participate, we watched the staff lovingly create some delicious looking cocktails. We will definitely be back to test some of those on the terrace this summer. Overall a great find.
Surprising good cocktails (the devil's lawyer is a detonating surprise.) a hearty, traditional but not too simplistic kitchen. The Thai pad with shrimp is delicious and almost too copyy.
I have been a couple of time to Akiko and every time the service was great, the sushi are really good !!
