Restaurant 13 - Launceston

I tried this restaurant for the first time last night with a group celebrating a friend's birthday. We were warmly welcomed by the waitstaff at the door and seated in a cozy section of the restaurant with a great view of City Park. The room was well organized and the temperature was comfortable. The food was amazing, with three choices offered for entree, main course, and dessert. Despite the limited menu for our event, the options were diverse and appealing. I chose the salt.

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time and it was absolutely wonderful. I was initially hesitant, as it is a hotel restaurant, which can sometimes be overrated in my experience. However, this place exceeded my expectations. I made a reservation and requested a window seat overlooking the city park, which was a great choice. The food was outstanding, especially the eye fillet pictured below, which was cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. The creme brulee dessert was the best I've ever had, and the service from the staff was exceptional - attentive and professional. The only downside was the bright fluorescent lighting near our table by the window, which contrasted with the rest of the dimly lit, ambient dining room. Despite this, I highly recommend a visit to this restaurant. The prices were fair and overall it was a fantastic experience.

Visited twice recently, the latest as a group of 12. The Chef certainly does a great job with the presentation of the meals. I have recently tried The Pork Belly and the Giant Lamb Shank . Both meals very tasty and well presented. The staff are very helpful .

Great meals and very friendly staff.not a big selection on menu but what was on menu was terrific and reasonably priced.

We received a warm friendly greeting as we arrived with no reservation, Really nice view overlooking city park, service was very friendly and efficient from all wait staff, our meals were of a very high quality (Steak) and reasonably priced, our only suggestion would be to expand their wine list with some better sparkling choices and some better scotch. We will tell our friends about this restaurant, we will be back.
