Bidrage med feedbackThis is my favorites 'cheap and cheery ' restaurant in Launceston. Never fails. I had an amazing duck red curry and the pork dumplings were the best I 've had. It is so popular with a regular flow of people coming in to get take out.
Amazing Thai, I eat here every time I visit Launceston. Have tried many of the dishes and all are fantastic! Very quick service and a lovely little restaurant space. Easy, yummy, and healthy. Takeaway options also. Definitely recommend!!
Went here on a Public Holiday and glad we made a booking as they were quite busy. Place has a cosy ambience. We ordered Spring Rolls which came in a serve of 3 for $10. They looked and tasted like the ones you get in the Supermarket. Server was on the phone when he slid the plate on the table and walked away. Mains ranged from $21 to $26. The serves were small and food tasted ok.
We ordered green curry and pad se ew. It was good but was not as expected. Food was too oily and their ambience was not that comfy.
Service is good and white people like it. Well.. I only tried Green Curry and Pad Thai. Curry is lack of spices. Basically, it tastes like spiced light coconut milk(it should be rich and full of flavor)and chicken is too dry. I wonder if this is the result of localisation because authentic spices are not accepted here? And I didn't expect them use Thai eggplants, since it's expensive ingredient and Aussies may dislike it. But why there are snow peas in it??? Is this sort of Jamie Oliver style joke? Finally I suggest the Chef precook the Chicken beast properly so it won't dry out.
