Gilligan's - Laughlin

I had my first visit to this clean and friendly neighborhood Tiki Bar. They offer video poker and have multiple TVs showing sports. While there aren't any food options available, it's a really nice little spot!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I recently visited a bar in Nevada that felt incredibly racist. I've lived in Vegas for about 10 years, and I usually enjoy playing the machines while having a drink. However, this time was different. After hitting four of a kind, I tried to get a drink, but the bartender was dismissive. I expressed my frustration by saying, "Thanks for nothing," because I felt like I wouldn’t even bother tipping someone who doesn’t want to serve me. To make matters worse, I could feel the judgment from a group of older white patrons who stared at me as if I had done something wrong. I was just wearing a polo and jeans! This experience left a terrible impression on me, and I definitely won't be returning.

This is a great spot to enjoy a cold beer or cocktail in the afternoon. There are plenty of TVs to watch, and the bartender is friendly. The space is clean and well-maintained, but it feels like something is missing—specifically, food.

Enjoyed the first encounter. The place is cute, clean and spacious. Great location for a sip and paint party. Friendly Bartender!!! The negative: No food, thus the 3 star rating.

Great atmosphere and staff! Scott was awesome! Played a round of computer golf with my uncle a first for me and laughed a LOT. Good crowd.
