Bidrage med feedbackI am pleased impressed with not only the vibe in this establishment, but the customer service was spot on. As we entered, our intentions were originally to meet and greet ourselves and fellow neighboring business but quickly were ordering to go specials. I hope I may get the opportunity to meet the owner or General Manager at this establishment. I believe highly in community growth.
I got the rasta pasta. The jerk shrimp pasta, the Barbi fry chicken w rice n peas. The chicken Barbi fry was fantastic, tender and flavorful the rice n Peas were great as well. The jerk chicken some of the best jerk I've ever had and the shrimp jerk fire as well you could taste the grill flavor, amazing. The pasta underneath although was lackluster if it wasn't for the flavor dripping off of the jerk it would've been a pass. The white sauce is thin and bland nothing to write home about, truly was saved by the jerk juices that blessed the pasta with its great flavor. This brings me to the rasta pasta. I imagine this isn't a popular dish. It was exactly what I expected it would be without the blessing of the jerk, flavorless. The addition of the plantains brought it some life but that was it's only saving grace. After picking off all the plantains the pasta itself was a definite pass. I found myself picking pieces of jerk to add it to the rasta pasta, and in fact considered mixing the two pastas just for that flavor. The rasta pasta also had cheese on it...so I'm not sure how that fits into rasta diet, but there could've have been more added to the rasta pasta in my opinion that would have livelyed it up. Tomatoes, mushrooms maybe, and a bit of flavor. Besides this the juices where fire and I heard they juice there juices in house...but that's some good juice. All in all the meat was fire. Jerk was fire. Rice n Peas damn good. Pasta meh. Rasta Pasta is a pass. The Juice ..it hit. Bit pricey but good.
