Trattoria Negroamaro - LATIANO

A great trattoria which is well off the beaten tourist track but well worth finding... Lovely outside eating area, and very attentive staff..... We had fantastic antipasti for two, about 10 different plates mainly fish based, very varied and interesting, we also had secondo, again the fresh fish and prawns... Together with the house chardonnay and coffees the bill came to a reasonable €70....

It doesn't look much from the outside, but it is more than worth the visit. The pasta con alici is out of this world, the crema di fave with chicory is a local speciality, the service is friendly, the prices more than reasonable.

We have been in this restaurant with my girlfriend. We asked for 1 antipasti (we wznted to share) before ordering pizzas and then we asked for 1 dessert to share. The guy came with 2 desserts and on the bill we have also been charged for 2 antipasti ! When I told to the guy that 1 ordered only 1, he told me it is only for 2 people but acknoledged it was not written on the menu when I told him...! 24€ for these antipasti is just a theft ! About the food, ok but nothing really interesting. Xould not recommend.

Arrivare in un posto sperduto, senza un insegna ed indicazione è stata una fortuna, ma la vera sorpresa è stata la cena, di alta qualità, crudo freschissimo, antipasti cotti sublimi, per non parlare del primo a base di rana pescatrice e scampi...la spigola di mare poi eccezionale, ovviamente un menù a base di pesce preparato con ingredienti base che esaltavano i sapori, poi la cortesia e la simpatia di Salvatore ha reso la serata speciale. Consigliatissimo....ci torneremo senz'altro.

Come sempre al top. Ho portato degli amici a gustare dell'ottimo pesce... Il grande Alessandro non si smentisce mai...sempre ottimo in tutto. Ottimo servizio e locale sempre speciale. Grazie
