Ghirardelli Chocolate Outlet Ice Cream Shop

This is the 2nd time I?ve been disappointed at this location. The place barely had 1 more family apart from us. First choice on the menu unavailable. So ordered lands end sundae and strawberry hot fudge sundae which both turned out disheartening with the quality and presentation. Ice cream was melted, barely holding the shape of a scoop past the pick up counter, strawberry and cookie were rotten, could barely find fudge in the lands end and burnt in the strawberry

We ordered the Banana Split and the Hot Fudge Sundae, respectively. I had Rocky Road ice cream, in lieu (supply chain being what it is in COVID times) of chocolate an excellent suggestion from Allianna. The Rocky Road, Strawberry, and Vanilla ice creams in my Banana Split were rich and flavorful. The luxurious hot fudge, thick whipped cream, and firm bananas balanced out the sweet pineapple and sweet and tangy strawberry toppings very well. That being said, even a simple

Got a brownie sundae. Very delicious but very sweet. Felt like it should be called chocolate diebetus Sunday. Customer service girl was polite. Nice clean place.

Is a nice little outlet store. Has everything you could want for Ghirardelli products. Smaller than I thought it was going to be. Shares the same space as KiwiCo which makes Kiwi crates. Has mostly chocolate squares but some cocoa products. Hot chocolate and brownie was very delicious. If you like chocolate and are near then you need to stop by.

Good ice cream and shakes. Very rich and creamy. They have some good deals on chocolate. Tried the gold rush sundae and it was very good and tasty.
