Trillo's Street Tacos - Las Vegas

These are the best street tacos in Vegas, without a doubt. They are flavorful and fresh, and the service is unbeatable. The owners are incredibly nice. Just a heads up—it's a good idea to call ahead to check if they're open, as their schedule can be a bit inconsistent.

I just tried this place for the first time through DoorDash, and I was really impressed! The food was delicious, and the presentation was excellent. It arrived promptly and included all the extras and condiments—two types of salsa, limes, sour cream, and some chips—without me having to ask for anything. The addition of candy in the bag was a delightful surprise. I highly recommend the carne asada. Thank you for the wonderful service!

The prices listed on the online menu are lower than the actual prices in the restaurant, so I recommend checking them before you pay. I ordered the egg and potato burrito, but after just a few bites, I had to throw it away. The food was very bland; it seemed like the cook didn't use any salt or pepper at all (a basic rule of cooking is to season your food). Additionally, there were no fresh herbs in any of the dishes. I expected street tacos or fair food, but what I received bore no resemblance to that. The salsa was also lackluster—no heat, spice, or zest, just watered-down tomato juice. Overall, it was overpriced and tasteless. I’m very disappointed. Thumbs down from me.
