Bidrage med feedbackThis is my personal experience, no mean to be in general or against anyone.I like their food, as it is very authentic. But I don't really like the way they run the restaurant, and here is a breakdown of why:1. There are always people hanging around in the store and speak loudly. It seems to me they are their friend or family. I feel it is just not professional for the arrangement.2. They charge 4% of fee if you use credit card, this is insane....They only want to take cash, because I believe that's the way to avoid tax....3. They automatically add tips into your bill, and it's like 25%.....even it is only like 15 bucks, it feels sucks when they do that to you. The level of service is not even worth 25% of tips. I understand it's post covid time, all business suffer, but at least show some decency in doing business please....I will not come back again for sure.....even their food taste good......
We found this location online and came for brunch on Sunday. I have not had Taiwanese food for years, and I was looking forward to trying their offerings. I ordered a little too much for myself and got Taiwanese meat ball, spicy dried Tofu with anchovies, Taiwanese meat sauce over rice with hardboiled egg, and YiMei rice roll with mustard green. I was truly 眼大肚子小 at this point ?My companions ordered 4 more items, and we had a table full of goodies. The food was pretty good and very similar to Taiwanese street food taste. I packaged up the leftover and kept thinking next time, we should come with a cooler with ice to get some of these home to AZ. We definitely will be back next time we are in town.EDIT: They do post by the tableside that they charge a 3% fee for non-cash transactions, so pay cash if you wish to avoid it.
Taiwan Deli in Las Vegas is a must-visit for those seeking authentic Taiwanese cuisine. The flavors here are simply incredible! The Winter Melon Tea is a refreshing and fragrant beverage that perfectly complements the flavorful dishes. Speaking of dishes, the Basil Fried Chicken is a standout. The crispy chicken with aromatic basil leaves is a true delight. Don't miss out on the 小饼油条 (pancake with fried dough) for a crispy and savory treat. And if you're looking for a sweet ending, the 豆花 (sweet tofu pudding) is a must-try. Taiwan Deli offers an exceptional culinary experience with friendly service and reasonable prices. Five stars all the way!Vegetarian options: tofu pudding and soy milk
Food was good, service was normal. But, they hid their fees. They added a 12% service fee to my bill without telling me, calling it a “holiday fee” when confronted. There is also a 4% surcharge for using a credit card, so bring cash. Be careful. Check your subtotal and make sure it all adds up.
Reminds me of home in China. It's nostalgic. Beef rolls were super good and filling for $11.
