We started with appetizers . . brisket ends, deviled eggs, meatballs with bacon. We ordered the combination Lord have mercy . It was great. there were multiple sauces to try traditional smokey bbq, chilpolte bbq, even a white bbq sauce made with mayonaisse and vinegar. The meal came with sides and we tried the Hoppin ' John because it sounded so interesting and different we would have never found that in Maryland! It is made with peas and rice and is a perfect match for the ribs! Probably anything! I am not a big fan of dry ribs but these ribs were perfect to try the sauces with. My favorite is the chilpolte. We all would definitely recommend this place and wish they would come to Maryland! The owner was visiting every table and we even got to meet the chef. We had a wonderful night with great food and a great atmosphere!
The food was outstanding!! Bottom line, that is what matters most to me. Service was ok. But I came to eat and eat I did. Amazing and I would highly recommend!
The half order of spare ribs came with 6. I took more than half home with the sides. Ribs were good size with plenty of meat on them. Hoppin John and kale cashew salad were delicious. I would go back to try the baby back ribs. I went with 4 friends and they enjoyed their meals as well.
I had a group of 14 people. Everyone loved it but the bar was very slow getting our carafes to the table for brunch. I had to go to the bar myself 3 times to ask for more. The waiter said he would keep the rounds coming but the bar was so slow it didn't happen. I would go back but for quicker bar service
