Bidrage med feedbackMorimoto's is an experience! The food was outstanding! Table service was superb! Sommelier wine choice was spot on with a Spanish white wine. Most of our choices were gyoza, sea bass, lamb chops, crispy fish, miso with clams, fried rice, summer vegetables, and a roll, but can't remember the name of it.The music in the restaurant was nice, but I found a bit loud to try and have a conversation with 5 of us.Recommend reservations.
The food was alright, mayhaps I am too poor to appreciate the finer things, but price to quality this was not worth. Tried the full course sampler thing, which started with sushi, filled out with all nonsense of food with a nice dessert at the end. Dont get me wrong, everything was good to great, but food should never be this expensive. 4/5 stars. -1 star because they made me wear sleeves despite 75% of the women in there having bear shoulders, an archaic practice that is also extremely patriarchal and sexist.
Truly authentic Japanese dining experience. The flavors were just like Japan. This has been a place I have wanted to eat since I saw chef Morimoto on Iron Chef years ago.Food: 5/5
If you are visiting Las Vegas, Morimoto is a must. The food was exceptional and hit on all notes. There is something on the menu for everyone. The sushi was very fresh and generous on the portions. The braised black cod was cooked to perfection and had such great flavor. Best of all was the laksa soup. The broth was rich, salty, spicy, and had a great depth of flavor. The service was very good as well. I highly recommend Morimoto’s.
Four of us were extremely disappointed in the taste of the food. We ordered the full course meal and several appetizers. The toro tartare fell flat in all of our opinions and to us had the taste of bumble bee premade tuna. The salmon rolls were decent but nothing extraordinary, which would make it stand out from other sushi establishments.Their presentation was amazing though. The rest of the meal was average, but by far extremely overpriced and we felt you were just paying for the name. Sushi price is per piece. The servers were very prompt and attentive, but they made you feel like you were being rushed to eat and leave.Emeril’s right next door was a much better experience. It was pricey as well, but the service and food was amazing.
