Da Lat Vietnamese Cuisine - Las Vegas

One of those hole in the wall places that offers good tasting Vietnamese cuisine. This is my go-to for their grilled beef/shrimp platter piled up with veggies and vermicelli noodles. I have to agree with some of the reviews here regarding the man who runs the front after 5pm. He lacks the welcoming personality nor the communication skills and in turn, projects a very disinterested host. While the food is good, it really does affect the overall experience in a restaurant. People not only go out due to lack of time to cook but often times, they go out to enjoy a wonderful meal. If a host displays disinterest, patrons would not want to come back much less advertise your business. This would be an area that needs the most improvement.

Really good pho!!! Spring rolls are amazing!! Close to myHouse so I thought I'd try, pho had a ton of noodles and lots of the brisket. Left very full and satisfied

Absolutely awful—just absolutely awful. The noodles were undercooked, and the broth was served in a plastic can without a bowl, even after I had informed the staff that I was staying in a hotel and needed one. When I expressed my concerns, the man there simply shrugged it off, saying, "Oh, I didn’t recall!" I genuinely wish I could give this place zero stars. I hope others don’t have to endure such terrible food and service like I did. I ordered ‘Bun Mam,’ which is supposed to come with a lot, but all I got was what you see in the photo below. In summary, the food was terrible, the service was terrible—everything was a disaster, and I was left hungry. Uncooked noodles? WHAT ON EARTH!

The quality of the food was excellent; we all thoroughly enjoyed our pho, and they offered a generous amount of protein. While the service wasn't amazing, it was adequate. I don't have high expectations for service at Asian restaurants. The space is small, but that didn't bother me at all. I recommend getting soda, as the water had an odd taste. Overall, I would definitely return. Food: 5/5

The food didn't taste authentic to Vietnamese cuisine. An 18% tip was added automatically, which I found frustrating. The waiter also appeared to be the owner. Unfortunately, the drinking water had an unpleasant taste. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience.
