Big Top Eats - Las Vegas Strip

Absolutely awful property. We chose this hotel because of its family friendly reputation. I read reviews before booking and wasn't expecting much. I knew it was an older property that was run down. What I didn't expect was for our room to be dirty, mold in the bathroom and for the 2 queen sized beds to actually seem more like doubles. When I called down to the front desk to speak to someone about it their solution was for me to spend an additional $200 on another room. When I asked to speak to the manager on duty I was told they don't take calls and I would have to come downstairs. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here.

Go into your trip with realistic expectations. It's a budget hotel... the hotel is old and outdated, but for the price it is perfect! Staff are super nice and the rooms are clean. We stayed on the 15th floor of the Casino Tower. It was nice because our elevators only serviced 5 levels (floors 10-15 so we never had to wait for the elevator. It's situated close to the restaurants and between the midway and adventuredome. The wait for check in could take a while, depending on the time you arrive. Even if you paid in advance, you will likely need to pay the resort fee and a refundable deposit. The room keys are also pretty sensitive. Keep them away from your phone and you should be ok. Ours deactivated when we were at the pool (phone next to keys because we left our ID in our rooms, we had to wait for security to let us in. To save some money, Big Top Eats has a lot of options for $7.77 (the grilled cheese and tomato soup is delicious! . And the snack shop by the pool has 10 oz water bottles for $1 (instead of buying a 20 oz. bottle for $6 . We had a lot of fun at Circus Circus, plenty of amenities to keep the kids happy for days. It was also a super close walk to World Resorts where they have a lot of good concerts. I've seen lots of negative reviews, so I was a little worries coming. But honestly, it's not that bad. If you roll with the punches (don't stress about waits, old carpets/furniture, or resort fees you are going to have a great trip for the fraction of the price of a newer hotel.

I was going to give the hotel a decent review, and now I have changed my mind. The staff is friendly, but that's after you have to go through the Timeshare salespeople who have pegged as suckers. Then, the elevators on the 25th floor don't work. You have to go up before you go downstairs. The buttons don't work for down, even if you hold the button. I would say that my first trip to Vegas would be exciting. It was until I got to this hotel. Next trip, I will go somewhere else to stay.

Does this hotel have an owner? Peeew, there should be a negative star review... I will rate Circus Circus negative 4. The only reason i am not giving negative 5 is the person who check us was amazing. Other than that, You can 't call this a hotel. You exactly get what you paid for. After we stayed we check the price on the week days and this hotel is $29 $31/day The carpet smell like wet, the towel holder above your toilet seat rusted, terriable managment. The manager with the tatoo lied her name when I ask her name. I dont want to miss spel her name but, it starts with P .

Based on many recent reviews, I was really concerned that this place was going to be a total dump and not have a comfortable stay. We only booked a couple nights here so the kids could use the water park as it’s only available for Circus Circus guests. To our surprise, we were lucky and had an ok trip. We experienced quite friendly staff and a clean room despite what many guests before us have written in their reviews. Pros Quick check in and staff was pleasant and helpful Basic room but was clean and had no stains, bugs, etc. And, everything worked including the A/C and the drains Decent WiFi Fun pool area and games for kids Quick and easy check out Cons Dining options are limited and definitely not many healthy or non fast food options. Popeye’s and Pick Up Stix in the food court have some of the slowest and least motivated staff we’ve experienced. Takes 30 minutes or more to receive your order. Stay clear of these 2 restaurants unless you enjoy being frustrated Definitely not luxurious and is one of the sadder and worn down casinos on the strip Location isn’t the greatest as it’s quite a ways away from the centre of the strip. Area around the hotel is kind of sketchy
