My friend and I were staying at a hotel directly behind this restuarant and having arrived a day before my friend, I went here for a beer (as there is no where particularly close and would require a taxi) and found a seat at the bar. I was given a free snack with my drink which arrived in a chilled glass. The beer was reasonably priced and I was impressed with the options available for a restaurant which was strangely located (behind a petrol station) and had a captive audience where standards could be at risk of slipping. When my friend arrived, I had hoped eating a proper meal here would be to a similar standard to the service I received when visiting the bar but was left disappointed. We ordered the relatively pricey lobster paella and got lots of shell but little to no lobster. We raised this with the waiter who simply shrugged his shoulders and completely ignored what we were saying. We also felt rushed whilst we ate which soured the experience further. The good customer service I received at the bar was non-existent when it came to actually spending considerably more money and dining here. If you are staying at the hotel, this is a good place for a drink but I would be wary of the dining experience. Perhaps we were just unlucky but this is all I can say following this experience. Also, it is not open all day. They tend close later afternoon and then open again in the evening and this varies between week days and weekends.

My daughter got married here last week (complete with registrar) with over 100 guests in attendance. The whole event went exceptionally smoothly. The canapes were delicious and never ending and the four course meal was outstanding, such generous portions. I had Langoustine, Hake, Beef Entrecote (lovely tender steak) and a dessert. Staff were very efficient, food came out promptly and hot, no one kept waiting. Bar was kept busy but no queues for the wide selection of drinks. Thanks to all staff who made the event memorable for all the right reasons, especially to the chef(s). Only slight criticism was cigarette ends on path where my daughter was to make her grand entrance, had to be careful that she didn't get them on the train of her wedding dress! Also maybe some extra toilet facilities only one male cubicle with a broken lock and a couple of urinals, but these are minor things. Maybe some garden landscaping would help for the all important photographs. I would highly recommend this hotel as a wedding venue.

Food for three, two very rich inlets (alcachokes and chanclas) three main dishes, very rich coconuts in green salsa and merluza with clams and a very tasty sauce; the txipirones in their ink were not at the same level. good price and good service
