Canteras Playa

We visited this restaurant several times both prior to and following a cruise. We found the quality of the food and service to be excellent. We sampled some really tasty fish and meat dishes including Dorada, Sole , Seafood Paella, Steak, Lamb and Mixed Grill. The wine was also good and the prices seemed reasonable in our view. The restaurant is situated on the promenade in Las Caneras next to the excellent beach. The restaurant seems to have many return diners as we saw familiar faces their on our return visits. The establishment is family run by two sisters and their husband one of whom is the chef. They all seem very friendly and helpful. They also give complementary items such as cheese biscuits, ice cream sticks and liqueurs which is an added bonus. This was a great dining experience and we would recommend a visit to anyone visiting the Las Canteras area.

Wonderful food and outstanding service from a friendly family team. Returned several times during our short stay due to the great food and value for money. So good we are going back in April for another week and will be visiting again.

Visited 2 times: Best pepper steak in the Playa Canteras. Fish also both times perfect. Staff super friendly attentative. Warmly recommend!
