Bidrage med feedbackExcellent tapas, especially miniburger, good wine, very nice staff, cheap prices. the hotel is located in the market hall. few tables.
I visited the last Thursday evening at 20:00 a.m., as I didn't feel for a big restaurant menu and wanted to have something fast and delicious. it was an early timing, and I was the first to go, while other people just arrived after me. the food was great (I had 2 montaditos and another tapa) and wee (I went for house) quite delicious. also beautiful atmosphere, plus a dj began playing in the center of the mercado. I would recommend if they were on the go:
We came from the inspiration of the good reviews, but the performance was pretty bad. we had oysters who were good, but then started problems. tapas what we had was not freash, but could be eaten. the half of the menu was pasta dishes so we asked them, but. no one of the dishes was available? Do they not understand why the ones stay in the menu? aubergine bowl and blossom was ok, but preheated and not very fresh. Last came that we had sepia and that was terrible, old sepia with few bores in, maybe already often warmed up plus stink. we only ate a few of the courts. we felt really bad in the evening after that. please consider selling fresh items, not too long their dishes that are poisoned by people. tapas /pintxo were all as old looking. I have visited San sebastian many times and the difference was huge. service was good, place was beautiful, Italian craft beer great, but old food in chain drops star!
I had a late dinner here. beautiful different tapas: oktopus, cod, bark meat and cheese. accompanied by some jars of sangiovese red wine and tasted two different weins from rubiera del duero. our daughter had her lasagne. well cooked. if they are looking for nice eating and. good wee do not hesitate to visit them are.
We came here on the back of the strong TA reviews...it was about 1245pm and they weren’t ready yet so we tried a couple of tapas at another place in the market. When they were finally ready we popped over to Cachuk, and we totally...regretted not just waiting. The first place we went to was simply dismal indifferent service and boring food. At Cachuk, the owner patiently explained everything that was available (in English), and for some items even gave some explanation where it was from, etc. He was not at all pushy, and let us pick what we thought we would like. Almost every single dish we had was fantastic a Vitello Tonnato, a marinated tuna, some meatball dish. The house special “Cachuk” was really tasty but we found it a little salty. Had a couple of glasses of lovely white wine with the meal, and the price was very friendly considering the quality. Can see why people come back!
