Bidrage med feedbackMaybe 3.5 stars, but this was my first visit. The salad was only iceberg lettuce and shredded red cabbage and carrots, but the ginger dressing was very good. Vegetables/tofu did have a quite good taste, but you'll get a lot more (and same or better quality) for the same price at a PeiWei. Maybe that's an unfair comparison since LC doesn't have a PeiWei, and I do like local over chain for the most part, but still.
Delicious Thai food! I ordered the Red Curry, and it was just spicy enough at a (medium), loaded with vegetables and meat, and a very large portion. The fried shrimp rolls were awesome as well. Really enjoyed the Thai tea as well! Although I think Thai Delight is good as well, I don't think they are any better than this place. The atmosphere here is relaxing, and the owner's are very friendly.
The Tom Yum Gai soup is awsome.. it is a bit hot. The Thai fried rice is also good.
I'm a bit biased because I really love Thai food, and I found the food to be quite good. However, the dishes offered were not what you might expect if you're coming from a larger city. My total came to $46 for an order of spring rolls, chicken pad see ew, shrimp pad thai, and basil chicken, which felt a bit pricey given the amount of food in the takeout order. I noticed that the pad see ew was made with pad thai noodles, which was a bit unusual. Overall, I'd be willing to eat there again, but I'd definitely go in with a clearer idea of what to expect on the menu.
I’m lowering my rating for this restaurant. It recently changed owners and names; it used to be called Renoos, and now it offers a mix of Indian and Thai cuisine. The flavors of the entrees have changed, and the portion sizes appear to be smaller. The green curry with chicken was too watery, and the chicken is now served in chunks instead of being sliced. I will give it a few more chances to see if it gets any better.
