Shake Shack Marin Country Mart

This Shake Shack location is nestled right next to a mall area, in a quiet area of Marin County. It has plenty of parking, outdoor seating, and very clean inside seating options.The food is everything you want fast food to be: quick, with flavorful burgers that can taste great “plain”, crisp fries with great options for dips/toppings, and milk shakes that taste as good as any ice cream shop.The only downside to the Shake Shack experience is that it’s the most expensive fast food chain I’ve ever been to. That being said, it is also the best tasting fast food burger I’ve ever had. So.. sorry wallet, sometimes sacrifices must be made!

The burgers are solid and the fries came out crispy and hot. You can enjoy an adult beverage with your meal as well. The location is very peaceful, but we went on a Monday. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there was no one at the counter to take our order. They do have self-ordering options. Since you need an ID check to buy alcohol, I needed to wait for someone to validate my ID. Overall a good experience.

STOP BLENDING THE MILKSHAKE FIRST BEFORE THE FOOD IS COOKED! This location has yet to execute when to deliver shakes at the time the rest of the meal is served. In what world does it make sense to blend one of the quickest menu items and let it sit on the counter until the fries and burger are ready? Sadly, I used to order my food, wait 6 minutes then order my shake separately so I can have it at its right consistency. I’ve had to get milkshakes re-made because it turned into milk by the time I got my food. How can you be called shake shack when you can’t even execute a burger and shake? Don’t order shakes here if you want chocolate milk, milk or strawberry milk, or soggy Oreo bits in milk for a shake.

Always a great burger and even the mushroom burger is amazing! Manager let me have a sample of the bacon jelly with a few fries to help me decide which burger I was going to order that day. Super nice unexpected. Needs a bit of a good scrub. I don't say this just as a diner, but I worked on the industry for years and we had to thoroughly clean our dining area during and after shifts.

The cashier was very friendly and nice. The credit card reader asks for a tip so it feels forced. After giving a 10% tip for our food our fries were still cold. The best thing about our order was the vanilla shakes. The person who was designated to clean the dining room was not paying attention I had to clean our table and it was only 20 minutes after opening. He also dropped the ketchup cups on the floor and used the same gloves he picked them up with to keep stocking cups.
