Big Jim's Tavern Tap - Largo

We went in to order ribeye, but our server suggested we try the lobster tails instead, knowing how much I love lobster. We started with the potato skins, which were quite good. I ordered the twin tails, and they were excellent—no complaints there. However, my companion ordered the prime rib, which I had tried before and usually enjoy for its nice cut. Unfortunately, this time it was quite fatty. He didn't say anything because he didn't want to complain, but if it were me, I would have sent it back. I was really surprised by the quality. If you zoom in on the pictures, you can see it! I just hope they aren't compromising the quality of their meats.

I used to enjoy the Big Jim's steak and cheese when it was located on Ulmerton, but now it’s transformed into a spacious and upscale place with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I decided to try their Taco Tuesday special—an unusual choice for me, but I was curious. They turned out to be delicious! I had three tacos: one with pork and slaw, another with ground beef topped with lettuce and cheese, and the last one featured shredded chicken with mango salsa. They also offer a fantastic oversized hamburger at a very reasonable price. Everything I’ve tried here has been great!

This restaurant is a true hidden gem! The food, service, and prices are all excellent. They offer a wide variety of dishes, from steaks to French onion soup. The atmosphere is lively, with plenty of TVs around. It's definitely a must-try if you're in the area!

If you’re a tourist and looking for some good food this place is the spot. Food is really good and matches the pricing which is affordable if you have a lot of people with you! Inside and outside patio. Which has a big fireplace you can eat in front of! Only complaint is food took longer then I wanted to wait but everything else was awesome!

Seminole Sunrise Burger and a special App Sampler. The Sampler consisted of Jalapeños wrapped in Bacon, Onion Rings and Mushrooms. The Jalapeños were cut in half, filled with Cream Cheese and wrapped in Bacon. The Bacon was not crispy enough and chewy. The Onion Rings were a little too thick (preference issue only). The Mushrooms were tasty. The only issue with the App Sampler was too expensive for what it was $17.99 and way too greasy. The Burger would have been way better had it been cooked a little more. I will go back to try a Burger again but will skip the App Sampler.
