Brasserie Le Steak - LARCHMONT

My new go to for classic french. I have been looking for a menu like this for awhile. Food was was incredible. Service was perfect! Out server knew the wine list and her food recommendations were spot on. A warm baguette came out first. We split the goat cheese and tomato tart which was incredible! My daughter had the rib eye and mashed potatoes i had the sole almandine which was perfection. We finished by splitting the chocolate mousse. I can’t sat enough good thongs about this restaurant! All in all a lovely evening.

Had brunch this past weekend. Food was great, service was perfect. The space is setup right, you are not crammed in there, tables are spaced out perfectly. Kid-friendliness: Everyone was very positive and attentive. Tried this place for the first time on Father's Day and was very happy my family took me here! Food was excellent even though we were really here for brunch but we'll have to come back for dinner at some point as menu looked delicious! Service was great too. We had a little hiccup in one of the items we ordered and they promptly fixed it for us. We also ate outside around the corner which was very tastefully decorated and nicely done. Would highly recommend this place being a chef. Vegetarian options: My oldest daughter is both Gluten Sensitive and a vegetarian and was able to order a nice selection of the menu.

2nd time here...overall not a foodies restaurant! Non quality food, tastes like store bought beets to potato crusted cod and filet mignon not tender and chewy and just an OK carrot cake for dessert. WOW, what a disappointment. Wine was the hi-light! Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
