Cavalryman Steakhouse - Laramie

My daughter and I had a wonderful meal there, the lobster was amazing and fresh. I enjoyed my steak. The ambience made the experience truly unforgettable for its 14-year-old life. I would definitely recommend the experience with a taste of the West and large seafood. Update: Pat I shared the shrimp cocktail that was from this world! I don't usually eat seafood in Wyoming, but that was fresh and amazing!

I've eaten several times here. They took a reservation for my huge family on the day of the game if there were no other restaurants in the city. The service always exceeds my expectations. The staff is friendly and the food and drinks are never disappointed. Once for my graduation party, they surprised me with a chocolate drawn cap and dress! I highly recommend this place!

The Cavalryman didn't disappoint. The mushroom appetizers were excellent, the soda bread and honey butter delicious. The steaks (ribeye) were the best I had in a long time, much better than this street house! Then dessert cream ball with black coffee was the perfect final. The Irish dancers on the St. Pattys Day were a great pleasure for everyone. Thanks Cavalryman!

Here today on the way back to Texas Cody, Wyoming. Chase was our waitress and she couldn't have been better. The food was great and all staff very friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone.

This place truly exemplifies rustic Wyoming elegance. The new ownership has done wonders. We received truly exceptional service from Tyler our server and mouth-watering food from their great cooks. Would like to see a little more local or even wine from the region on the wine list, but all in all, this is the best place to get a steak in Laramie.
