Moulin Marin - Lapalisse

The restaurant is very nice with a typical French regional bistro menu. Allthough frog legs and snails are not apealing to everybody, we quite enjoyed some of the other dishes. The service is great: they even tried to speak English to accomodate our meager french. Nice terrace and on this summer evening we enjoyed a very nice light, white 100% organic wine.

Super stay for a professional trip to the marine mill. hotel coast, spacious and very well equipped room with mini bar and very good bedding. very quiet and so relaxing. restaurant side, a party every evening, very good cuisine with very good products. super welcome from the owners who are very pleasant and in the care of their customers. I will come back without hesitation and I will recommend this establishment.

We stayed days in this hotel on the occasion of the crowding of lapalisse the hotel is well the comfortable rooms the good bedding. well equipped with fridge and safe. A small flat the room was not made during our stay. The housekeeper was just leaving and not recesses. astonishing when for an etoilesthe restoration is good and the welcoming staff. the friendly owners very charming welcomed us in their restaurant in town during the party and prepared a very hearty meal for the last night. We thank them for their kindness. Overall we spent a pleasant stay

De passage pour visiter les châteaux de la Loire, nous avons passé la nuit à Lapalisse en choisissant cet établissement à la fois comme hôtel simple mais confortable et comme restaurant. Nous avons été agréablement surpris par l'accueil chaleureux, l'authenticité des produits offerts, comme le pâté avec une excellente compote d'oignons ou l'entrecôte moelleuse, et par le rapport qualité-prix.

Bien que la qualité des plats soit irréprochable, nous ne reviendrons pas dans ce restaurant, et voici pourquoi: -seuls les deux menus les plus chers sont servis le dimanche -le service est très long, peut-être est-ce parce nous n 'avons pas pris de vin (la table derrière nous, qui en avait commandé, a été servie plus vite alors que nous avions commandé avant) -et surtout, parce que, n 'ayant plus assez faim, j 'ai demandé à ne pas prendre le dessert qui figurait dans le menu. Or, on m 'a compté l 'entrée et le plat comme à la carte, alors qu 'il eût été plus honnête, et plus commerçant, de me compter le prix du menu commandé; personne n 'y aurait perdu; ou au moins de me prévenir qu 'on allait, du coup, me faire payer plus cher sans raison! Je trouve que ce n 'est pas honnête, et le repas m 'est resté sur l 'estomac !
