The best Indian restaurant in the north I know. I have visited various Indian restaurants in the North for the last few years (Lüneburg, Hannover, Hamburg, Celle, Kühlungsborn). Almost always I was very happy but no one came to the Taj Mahal in Langen ran. Since the owner cooks and freshly prepared, the food, apart from the appetizers, is of course not on the table in 20 minutes. If you first visit the restaurant, this may be a little need for reconciliation. But even at the kitchen battle on TV, the candidates for a portion alone already need 30 minutes and apart from that, in the Taj Mahal you get various dishes that are guaranteed to taste. You don't have to worry about the sharpness. The dishes can be ordered as a mild variant or with medium, lighter, sharper or Indian sharpness. As an appetizer I recommend Chita Chingri (marinated shrimp in tomato sauce). Simply delicious and fits very well in the north. Add the vegetarian samosa (cripy baked dough pastes with vegetarian filling). Thus, the waiting time can be bridged well and with an Indian beer it is also no problem. You can't make mistakes in the main courts. Whether fish, meat or vegetarian it tastes everything, because I have tried almost all dishes during the last 16 years. The dishes can also be ordered outside the house and thus the waiting time is omitted. The tasty dish tastes very, very good and so on the way back to Hamburg I like to take some more. Essen ist sehr lecker, man muss aber Zeit einplanen. Mal eben schnell was essen ist nicht, ein Tisch vor dir ca. 1 Std Wartezeit. Wenn man das lokal von aussen sieht macht es nicht den Anschein dort etwas tolles zu erwarten. Probiert es aus die Küche ist sehr tu empfehlen, wir gehen gerne dort essen.

Man wird super nett bedient und es wird auf Fragen und Wünsche ohne Probleme eingegangen. Ich war dort mit meiner Familie essen (3 Personen). Wir wurden wahrscheinlich vom Inhaber bedient der gleichzeitig Kellner und Koch war (außer uns keine Gäste). Die Wartezeit fürs Essen ist durch die Qualität absolut angebracht. Alles Frisch gemacht und ich war positiv sehr überrascht. Ich werde auf jedenfall dieses Restaurant wieder besuchen.
