Bidrage med feedbackThe Florian 's Stuben Museum, an experience for young and old. Since the summer holidays have now begun, I spent the weekend with my family in the adventure community of Schiffweiler. In addition to the well-known sights, such as the water gardens, the Itzenplitzer Weiher and the Prehistoric Gondwana, we came across the Florian 's Stuben adventure museum by chance via Google Maps. Since we decided somewhat spontaneously to visit the museum, we were unfortunately unable to register in advance. However, that 's not a problem here at all. The extremely hospitable owners (a sweet, older couple) look forward to welcoming every guest equally. Even short visits late in the evening are quite possible. Just try your luck and take a look. Definitely worth a visit. At the entrance we were promptly greeted with a latte macchiato, which was actually “on the house”. And I have to say, I 've rarely had such a good drink! To our surprise, we were given a free tour by the museum director himself, who took us through the extremely eventful 125 years of the Heiligenwald fire department. The time flew by, while the children had fun in a well-equipped fire department outdoor playground , we were immersed in dialogues and fire department anecdotes from the museum director, which seemed to never end. Before we knew it, it was almost half past twelve and we said goodbye and headed to the hotel. I found it amazing that new guests were still visiting the museum even at this time of day. If I could give ten stars, I would do it straight away. We will definitely visit the “Florian 's Stuben” adventure museum again next year.
Owners always friendly, but opening hours are spontaneous and of unpredictable length. #floriansstubenopenend
