Mcdonald's - Lancaster

A dirty and neglected McDonald's with slow service. It's best to steer clear if you can.

Today, we decided to go through the drive-thru at this restaurant. The woman working at the intercom was not very friendly and seemed to be in a hurry to take my order. She also kept saying hello repeatedly. Unfortunately, when we checked our daughter's happy meal, we noticed that the chicken nuggets were missing. However, the manager quickly resolved the issue when I went inside to inform them, which I appreciated. Overall, I can't fault their prompt response in fixing the mistake.

The food was served cold, but I didn't bother to complain as it seemed like the restaurant was already having a tough time. I ordered their new "hat trick" dish, but received 2 beef patties instead of the promised three. It seems like the staff didn't fully grasp the concept of the new menu items or the football references.

I went to McDonalds thinking that we could get some quick food on my way home from a long day out only to be waiting 45 minutes for a 2 meals. The McDonalds wasn’t that busy when we walked in but after 30 minutes it was at a stand still and the only orders that were getting processed were the people going through the drive through. Multiple people before us got the wrong food and had to walk back up to the till to get the right food that they ordered. When I eventually went up to get my food, they were missing two fish filet sandwich’s which was infuriating considering how long we had to wait. When I got the food, it was warm and the fires were almost cold so I’m not sure how long my order was waiting on the side before they called out my number. There seemed to be no urgency and all I got was “sorry for the wait” on my incorrect order. I was heavily disappointed and I won’t even think about going back again. The manager seemed to be clueless and had no presence or reassurance in the restaurant towards the increasingly hungry customers.

Got the wrong items and 2 missing items but this has happened more than once aswell sick of caton road maccies, go ever cheapside maccies or the morecambe one
