JB Dawson's Restaurant & Bar - Lancaster

Gotta love Austins & JB Dawson! Decided to visit Lancaster and walked into a resturant I completely forgot had any relations to my old job.

The service is going downhill in the past few monthsVery slow! Orders are mixed up.

Server was incredibly rude. I never asked if we need to refill drinks. I never asked if the food was okay. Ordered a medium-rare prime rib. It came out medium good. My husband's middle rib was much rarer than mine. Just an overall bad experience.

The food was great. We had the prawns and the chicken parm.

As always, the highlight of the meal was the prime rib. That's the main reason I occasionally stop for dinner at Jerico's. The blue cheese salad dressing is so-so and tastes like a glass, but the wine portions are quite generous, although the wine list is pretty dated and conventional. And at 77, I just have to have qualified to reach the minimum age for entry! Still, the prime rib is the best in town.!
