Chestnut Hill Cafe - Lancaster

Love this place! I've been here for years. The ambience is great. Very cozy and in a beautiful and not too busy part of the city. Love the coffee and tea and the sandwiches are also good. Not 5 stars because they communicate badly when they are open. Provided to see a renovation sign without end date on the door. They were open to Google and on their own website. Not fair for customers

I? ve went here twice and would really go back and that? a bummer because it? close and look cute, but can?t judge a book of him?s cover. Both times I got breakfast I got sick from the coffee / food (replaced stomach and I have a strong stomach) and her breakfast is?eh? my food was all warmed in a microwave instead of fresh I was super disappointed by the lack of taste in my food also and it is even more disappointing based on the price? Coffee is 2/5 and food 3/5? Service wasn't great either. I'd rather go to Prince Street or Rachel? Crape?s or La Petite Patisserie heck or even Dunkin. Bummer.

Great neighborhood place to some excellent coffee. The food options are also great ( Bagels amazing). Service can sometimes be a little slow through the setup, but they are always friendly and it is worth waiting!

Great food, I really enjoyed the tomato sandwich and mozzarella pesto sandwich. The iced tea was also good. They forgot one of the sandwiches in our order, but as soon as we checked it, they did it and quickly got us out.

Pro tip: if you want to use a coupon like T-mobile Tuesdays make sure the cashier is not lost and actually puts it in, otherwise the timer of the coupon expires and you can't use it no more. Overall decent coffee and good pastry.
