Golden Gate Chinese - Lancaster

Food is so fresh. Such a nice family that is proud of their quality service! The owner is so friendly when I went there today, couldn't decide that he helped me choose only the right dish? I love many vegetables he made me an ingenious dish with fresh vegetables, a chicken in a brown spicy sauce with white rice. Now I just need to remind him what it is so that I can order it again! Thank you.

This was our second time getting take-out. It now may be our favorite Chinese food in the area. The prices and portions are great. The flavors are good, not so artificial tasting as other chinese restaurants. We got their combination platter with spareribs, fried rice, sweet n sour chicken..all for $11! We also got their dumplings and sesame chicken. Cannot say enough good things...we will back.

First time ever eating here and... WOW. AMAZING. I had the General Tso Chicken and it was honestly THE BEST I've never had. Chicken was tender, juicy and flavorful with just the right amount of crispy edges. Not like the chewy greasy stuff some places serve you. Honestly my only complaint is that I wish it was closer to my house. I'll be back for sure.

I?ve been searching for the best Chinese takeout in Lancaster and I think I?ve found it. I had almost given up hope of finding good chicken lo mein. I am so glad I stopped to check this place out. Just about as typical Chinese takeout as you can get as far as atmosphere. One thing stood out to me though, this is a family business! My all time favorite Lancaster Chinese takeout (China 1 in New Holland, RIP) was a family run spot. When I noticed that here I got immediately excited. The service was great. Prices were typical. Nothing on the crazy high side. They do have lots of specials on their menu which is nice if you like combos. The real winner here is the food. Tons of flavor and cooked perfectly. If you?re searching for good Chinese takeout in Lancaster like I was, you must try Golden Gate. My new go to Chinese takeout!

The service was fast, staff friendly, and the food is excellent. Shrimp were very big not like the tiny ones they usually give. Vegetables were tender and crisp, perfectly cooked. The honey chicken is awesome, everything is super fresh as served steaming hot. Prices were fair and it worth it best in Lancaster county. Free calendar in December!!!
