We have saved this place for the last evening on the island. Overall, I would grade it under satisfactory, no more. Good white wine, Carizza, Sicilian, a very questionable salad with some unhappy tomatoes picked too early in my view and a fairly good grilled fish but missing the wow factor. The evening is saved by the romantic surroundings of the “Porto Vechio”, the old port of Lampedusa. The holiday and the week we spent here was overall precious so we loved the great places and those less than fabulous. Try your own experience and why not, this place could resonate better with other readers of our recommendations.

A wonderful sea front dinner. Everything from starters to desserts was excellent, we just would not leave and we would definitely come back. Every dish is a tease. Quick and friendly service and modest price for the quality. Recommended!

Fresh and varied fish (please prefer local fish). outdoor place, overlooking the old port. room staff fast enough, although the first night I went I waited so much and were missing: tuna, mixed grill and a wine I chose. But the other two nights I went to dinner, with an excellent cous cous of cernia at the cost of (they do it on Thursday and you have to book it) and I recommend it as the only course of the dinner. excellent also the impepte of mussels, abundant dish and at moderate price. I tried the raw mixture: I was a bit disappointed because I demand my expectations. cost the mixed grill of fish instead I liked very much, but it is not worth too much, too dear. Discreet the mixed sea of the market, an appetizer with various tastes of fish. some very fresh, others much less. Very good the lodges with the sardines.

August was a very crowded month in lampedusa and therefore we finished booking with one day in advance. the dishes are cooked really well and the fish is fresh.
