Bidrage med feedbackSmall family run restaurant. A husband and wife were serving when we were there, they didn’t speak a word of English so a good opportunity to try out our basic Portuguese. They’re serving basic family style Portuguese dishes, when we were there later in the evening there were only three choices. I had the veal which was nice, my partner had the goat which he liked less, but the bite or too I had were pretty tasty in my view. These came with rice and potatoes, slightly strange chip shaped but soft potatoes, swimming I think in animal fat. I thought the whole thing was quite pleasant and fun. The locals were the main patrons so it felt like an authentic experience.
It was a perfect place for a casual light dinner. We were looking for a small place for dinner. The canteen is run by a family, with the mother as the chef, the father as the manager of the place, and the son as the waiter. If you need assistance in English, the young man speaks English very well. They offer affordable prices and serve delicious meals. I tasted the goat, and it was tasty.
Very friendly staff, delicious food, especilly the arroz de salpicão!
Uma surpresa maravilhosa dado que escolhemos o restaurante por acaso, vagueando pelas ruas de Lamego. Mesmo sem reserva, eles nos aceitaram com grande gosto, o bacalhau assado foi uma maravilha, o tarte de Lamego muito interessante, a equipe simpática é evidente... foi uma excelente experiência. No entanto, eu aconselharia você a fazer a reserva, porque foi a primeira pergunta que você nos fez. Na verdade, chegamos cedo demais para jantar (19h). Para sim, para não, reserve a refeição.
A forma como os clientes recebem é fantástica, o jovem que nos serviu faz sem dúvida a diferença mesmo em um restaurante onde o “jantar” é excelente, recomendar a cabra e a sobremesa de “lamego”
