Both Trujillo and Chiclayo claim the candy/dessert King Kong as their own. We were asked to get a Peruvian relative. We bought and tried some in Trujillo of Castaneda and it was very good. So we bought and tried some of San Roque... the chiclayo favorite. It was also very good. I can't try it myself. You're getting cracked
El King kong es uno de los dulces típicos de esta zona del Perú, fuimos a este lugar a comprarlo, según nos dijeron aquí es que se inventó este dulce típico
SOBRETODO EL DE MARACUyA, su sabor agridulce lo hace unico. Solo que me apena que no lo vendan en tamaño familiar
Visitamos la fábrica por dentro, el cual se accede con previa cita. Al interior no se puede tomar fotografías. Se puede conocer la historia de la fabrica, y observar la fabricación de sus productos.
