The Gorilla - Lakewood

Went for lunch. The smoke chicken sandwiches was delicious. The sauce was fantastic. The sides were smaller but tasted great. For the price it was well worth it. Can’t wait to go back and try a waffle.

My wife and I shared the brisket sandwich and it was delicious.

What is up with this place? Has anyone ever gone to a custard shop, and found an incredible bbq joint there? Yes. Their frozen stuff is much better than the local spots. But, I have found a favorite lunch place here. The smoked meats are incredible. If you like ribs, pulled pork or any other favorite...they have combo platters to help you find your fave. Be sure to order the baked beans topped with pork cracklin'. ..Well worth the price of admission.

Enjoyed a day at the beach and was looking for a nice ice cream place with hot dogs. Glad we chose this place as they have a great variety of foods to enjoy. Will visit next time we are in the area and cannot wait to continue trying more of there menu!

Our family loves this place!!! The staff is kind helpful! Always happy to explain items on menu! They are always patient with us, many times I have the kids order pay for their own items to help them learn about money the staff has always been patient with us, even during busier times. We love the Gorilla definitely recommend to anyone in Lakewood!
