Super Mex - Lakewood

Ordered take out for lunch yesterday.one chicken quesadilla one burrito, one chicken tostada. Bill came out to like 46.00...dang...ok I could take that. But the food was NOT GOOD. My quesadilla very little cheese. And the chicken had no flavor. Like it had been boiled. My chili verde burrito. The pork had very little flavor. Tasted boiled. And the chilis were added to the burrito as a after.thought. not during the cooking process. Or so it tasted. Burrito was also very disappointing. Wife had a chicken tostada...same same. Chicken tasted very bland. Very little flavor. Not good. A server told my wife they were short kitchen staff. By the taste of the food. They are short cooks too. We threw away over half the food. And we do.not throw away food. Strange ,because we ate their earlier in the year with family. And food was good then. I dont know what happened. But something changed. I will NOT be returning. And do NOT recommend. For a 46.00 dollar lunch. I feel ripped off. And will try other restaurants in the future.

Food is always delicious I went. For the tostada my adult granddaughter was amazed at the size of it I don't recommend the tamales. They are hit and miss but everything else is good

When in Lakewood, this is a terrific opportunity to experience Super Mex and Cantina. The wait time was just a few minutes to freshen up the table and service was fast and efficient. My drink never got to half empty as they are highly concentrated on the guest. Not to jump into a ton of details but your seriously missing out if you pass this place up. I went straight from LAX to here.

Food is great, prices are good and service was awesome.

Great place to go. We sat in the bar area Robert was our server that makes the best drinks and made sure that our food order was switched on immediately. I'm glad you still have good employees. He's one of the best. Thank you. Robert great work. We always come to his great service.
