The loco moco tastes as if it spilled the whole salt in the flesh-smooth. it is more salty than the engraving. also they burned my eggs. (dez 20, 2021 evening) please repair, it never cost so badly. what happened to the quality?

Well, I don’t like to give bad reviews, especially when the service was good. Yet I need to be honest so that this restaurant can improve and for the time being other customers won’t order the same dishes. It was my first time there. Ordered Lau Lau we hen you are in a Hawaii. Restaurant you got to try Lau Lau or loco Moco right ? The Lau Lau was a disappointment no taste at all, very bland. I had to ask for sauce. The hot sauce they recommended was good. But Lau Lau should be very flavorful on its own. My BF ordered loco moco average I hope the restaurant will improve the taste of its food !!

Don't come here pretty often, even though its pretty close. Kind of hesitant because the food is not really consistent in the past but gave it another shot and the food quality is really good. I really love there island style fried chicken and kalbi. There side spamusubi is really good to with teriyaki sauce. Food wasn't consistent in the past but now it is and a pretty solid joint to try and experience. Food is kind of pricey if you order a platter with 2 combos almost cost me $20 including a drink.

The Island Fried Chicken was Outdtanding..as were the kalbi short ribs. Bacon Fried Rice is a chart topper as well.

My husband I LOVE this place! The food is fabulous, prices quality are unbelievable, the quantity of food is beyond generous. We drive quite a distance to go to the restaurant in Downey but this IS our favorite location. We have ordered their food for parties during COVID last year even had food delivered for a small dinner group. Everyone we have introduced their food to loves it! It is ALWAYS a treat something different to look forward to! Guaranteed you will leave with a to go box, or 2, especially if you order the 3 entree platter. Lots of great entree choices!
