Yes there is always a wait but the staff is great, cooks are great! Food is made to order and hot and tastes delicious! Love having company come into town and taking them here. Way better then Benihanas. Who needs restaurant chains when you have this place. We love you and thank you!

First we waited over an hour. They don't cook in front of you because of covid. We waited for the soup and my son had to ask for our salads. My food was cold. I received my plate last out of à party of 7. After paying we discovered all our food was cold. Told the guy, he said I should have told him, he could've reheated it. Reheat shrimp I don't think so buddy. I spent way too much money for this place. I don't recommend eating here. I certainly will never eat here again.

It's like Cheers! for all you older folks! every time you go there your treated like they missed you. The food is excellent, the beer is cold and the service is the best in Lakewood. Make sure you tip your chef, they work hard for you.

This type of environment where cooking is performed in front of the customer is always fascinating but these places are not inexpensive. We averaged about $40 per person (includes gratuity). Although the staff was friendly, I was disappointed they didn’t verbally inform us fried rice was additional $3 person. It was presented as if fried rice was one of the options. However, the fried rice was worth the cost. Two strangers were included with our party of six at the table. So, if your group is small, be prepared to have someone sit next to a stranger. If you want the Hakutsuru Sake, order the big bottle. The manager said it is more cost saving. We had ordered two $10 bottles. The dinner ended with birthday person receiving song and ice cream.
