Smoothie King - Lakeway

If you’re looking for a reliable establishment, this one is not it. Yesterday, I ordered a cocoa haze smoothie bowl. The picture below is what I received. When I got home and realized the base was not correct, I thought “I can deal with this” but once I started eating it, I realized that this was an entirely different bowl with cocoa on top??? How hard is it to follow a recipe? It’s just assembly of ingredients. Their biggest issue is their staff. I once came in 30min after opening was told it would be a 20 minute wait because they didn’t cut up fruit yet. Some nights I like to go in around 8 for smoothie bowls almost every time, they will say they’re out of açaí. After a while, I realized they were lying. Especially one night when I came in there were 10 teenage boys behind the counter. Told me again out of açaí, but promptly at 8:30pm, they all busted running out of the store and into their cars. I can’t imagine how much revenue is lost due to the laziness of their employees. I won’t be back.

I've had the misfortune of visiting this establishment multiple times, and each experience has been progressively worse. The owner seems to be neglecting the business, the floor is often littered with trash. The milkshake preparation area is appallingly unhygienic, and the overall atmosphere is unclean and uninviting. also I want to clarify that I was impressed by the dedication of the young teenager working there, I couldn't help but notice some shortcomings in the overall experience. It's evident that the establishment's issues stem from poor management rather than the efforts of individual employees.As someone who manages a team myself, I understand the importance of effective leadership in ensuring success. I believe that with better management this place could reach its full potential and provide an even better experience for customers congrats to the young employee for their hard work and dedication despite the challenges they face

I always come here and today will be the last time. I paid with cash. The cashier proceeds to give me my change in all quarters. Nearly $9 in change in quarters. How do you not carry bills? Extremely frustrating

This smoothie king has become horrible. There’s only 1 girl that makes smoothies super slow it takes at the very least 20 minutes to make one smoothie it’s pointless even going to this location

Probably one of the worst smoothie king’s I’ve been to. First off, walked in and two young kids at the table, thought they were customers but were employees. They were lounging like there was nothing to do. The young lady came to the register, and seen me looking at the fruit bowls and proceeded to tell me they’re out of one but have the other, but can do any topping. I’m still confused on what they were out of.Ordered the spinach and kale smoothie, been getting this drink since forever so I know how it’s should taste and the texture. Idk what they did to my drink but it was extremely sweet and had a very odd texture, I can’t even explain the texture but I’ve never experienced and I use to get this drink at least 3 times per week from my other location. Almost tasted like an instant smoothie. It was gross. I’m new to the area and this is the closest location now.The restrooms needed attention, and there were no paper towels in the bathroom or at the counters by the straws.
