P. Terry's Burger Stand #5 - Lakeway

It was pretty good. Had some communication issues with the drive-through operator, and didn't get the right order. But it tasted good.

Live in Austin proper and big P.T. fan. Stopped at this location for a quick bite on way home from the lake. We waited over 20 minutes in the diner for our food, which ended up coming out cold and incorrect. It was a shockingly bad experience, and not something I have ever experienced from P.T. in years of eating it.

Burgers are smaller but good. Good shakes. Expect quick ordering line and then grab a table, drink, and condiments while waiting for your order to be cooked fresh. Every time I am there, the music playing is pretty good. They are pretty good about keeping tables cleaned off to keep up with dine-in customers. I never had to wipe off a table. Bus your own table on the way out.

Great tasting fresh burger and fries. Nice cool place on a hot summer day.
